Research Study Investigating CBD To Reduce Alcohol Use (Aurora, CO)

The CHAOS Lab at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is recruiting participants for a research study.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you: - At least 21 years old - Interested in using CBD to reduce alcohol use - Have an alcohol use disorder of at least moderate severity This research study plans on learning more about the effects of CBD on alcohol consumption.
If you join the study, your total duration of participation will last 16 weeks.
You will be taking either a CBD or placebo product for 12 weeks.
Main procedures include using a breathalyzer, completing questionnaires, a blood draw, an alcohol exposure task, a health review, and a drug and pregnancy test.
You will be required to attend up to 4 in-person visits at the University of Colorado Anschutz Campus during your participation.
